KUREDU the first Resort in the Lhaviyani Atoll, an area in the Maldives famous for its abundant fish life.

A paradise dream in real life, with more than 3 km of white beaches and aquamarine lagoons.

 

Our 300 Beach Villas are built directly on the beach, spacious and well designed with fresh and attractive open-air bathrooms with fresh water in the showers.
All the rooms have Beach towels, bath towels and comfortable bamboo furniture. In front of the Villa, sun chairs for unforgettable hours on the beach or on the terrace.

All Villas were renovated in the summer 1999.  

Kuredu is situated on the northern reef of the  Lhaviyani Atoll, 80 miles north of the international  Airport 'Hulhule', 35 minutes by seaplane  or 3˝ hours by speedboat from the airport

 BARS:
BABUNA BAR; the main Bar, is where the action is. Our animators are daily organising fun theme evenings, games,quizzes, disco's, champagne evenings and much, much more.AKIRI BAR; the smaller alternative for those who wants to have a quiet romantic evening. A very nice wooden bar deck under the palm trees.

RESTAURANTS:

Our five paradise restaurants are all built in traditional Maldivian style with open walls and thatch roofs  

 

 The POOL BAR; our latest addition is the cosy pool bar, where you can enjoy a cocktail, a beer or a fruit juice while improving your tan.  THE BEACH BARS; on the west side and on the east side of the  Island there are two beach bars. After a beautiful day in para dise enjoy a magnificent sunset with a tropical cocktail, listening to our classical sun set collection.

In the Snorkel Center we have experienced and multi-lingual  snorkel guides who are showing you all the best snorkeling from the Island and in the Atoll. The menu includes a full snorkeling introduction for beginners and inexperienced smokelers as well as land tours and night  snorkeling from the Island. Half and full day trips to some of the best snorkel reefs in the   world including an exciting visit to the famous shipwreck   THE GRILL with BBQ menu, steaks, burgers or whole grilled  fish. FRANCOS with pizza and pasta, hamburgers or a Club Sandwich. FAR EAST serving Asian specialties. The Maldivian TEAHOUSE serving local specialties. In the SPORTS CAFÉ a choice of sandwiches and fruit juices

 

In October 1999, we opened the POOL. A magnificent addition to our facilities, with a more than 2000 square  meter wooden pool deck and the Franco’s Italian  Restaurant in new costume. It is perfectly situated     between the Jetty and the Babuna Bar.
The pool is 28 meters long and 16 meters wide with a maximum depth of 2 meters. There is also a small   children pool, conveniently adjacent.

 

 

- KUREDU PRODIVERS is a 5-star Instructor Development Center and   all diving education is conducted within the PADI standards.
- Open Water Diver, Advanced OWD, EAN and other specialty   courses start every week. · Other courses on request at least   6 weeks before arrival. (Fax, letter or E-mail) 
- Courses are conducted in Swedish, English, German, Italian,   Spanish and French

 Our newly refurbished SHOP has an extensive selection of souvenirs, tropical beach wear, snacks, post cards, suntan lotions, snorkelling equipment and much much more
   

In the DIVE SHOP, all diving related items are sold at attractive prices. SIFANI jewellers have a wide selection of jewellery for that special occasion. FUJI offers 1-hour photo processing, a wide selection of films and disposable cameras.In the shop, there is also an INTERNET   CAFÉ with access to the Internet as well as an Email service: guest@kuredu.com TV ROOM and LIBRARY :In the Air-conditioned TV-room the international news channels are on all day. In the library you will find a great selection of pocket books in many different languages
